DESCRIPTION:As part of the USC's "Gamecocks Giving Back" alumni service program, the My Carolina Alumni Club of Washington, DC is partnering with New Hope Housing to spend Saturday, March 31 giving back to the community. 

We invite all area Gamecocks and their families to help in cleaning up, organizing, labeling and painting the children's play area and multi-purpose room at the Alexandria Community Shelter. We are also purchasing a toy box and requesting toy donations to fill it for ages pre-school through five or six years old. Children and family DVDs are needed as well. Monetary donations are also welcome. 

New Hope Housing (http://www.newhopehousing.org/ ) is a non-profit organization providing shelters and comprehensive services to homeless families and single adults across northern Virginia since 1978.
