Students and alumni, the Carolina Alumni Association invites you to participate in one of Carolina's most prestigious traditions—The Official University of South Carolina Ring. The Official Ring stands as a time-honored expression of Carolina pride and is recognized by Carolina alumni worldwide.
The Official Ring ceremony is sponsored by the Garnet Circle Student Alumni Council and is held each fall and spring on the Horseshoe. Whether you're a Carolina alumnus or a student, you'll find this ring a precious keepsake representing your commitment to Carolina.

All students having reserved rings during the Official USC Ring Week are invited to participate in the Spring Ring Ceremony on April 15, 2008 on the Horseshoe. Each ring will be presented by President Sorensen. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. |

Students achieving 60 credit hours or more are eligible to participate in the Official Ring tradition. The Official USC Ring symbolizes your achievements and links you forever to Carolina.
A committee comprised of students, alumni and staff designed the Official Ring. The result was a ring that would forever symbolize the history and tradition of Carolina. This exclusive ring is only available to those who have earned the right to wear it.
If you have met the credit-hour requirement, you will soon be receiving the Official Ring invitation in the mail. To download the form, simply click here.
Please note: Graduate students who have completed at least fifty percent of their coursework are also eligible to purchase the Official Ring.

Students
Purchase your ring during Ring Week held twice per semester. Balfour representatives are on campus two weeks during the spring and fall semesters to answer your questions and reserve your ring. To check the exact dates for this semester’s ring week, visit our online calendar.
All students ordering rings by the end of Ring Week will be invited to participate in the Official Ring Ceremony. The University President presents each student their ring at this elegant ceremony held on the historic Horseshoe.

Alumni
It's a great time to join the Official Ring tradition! Alumni worldwide recognize the ring as a symbol of loyalty and devotion to Carolina. The Official Ring is available in men's and women's sizes in 10k, 14k and 18k solid white or yellow gold. To participate in the ring tradition please contact a Balfour representative at 1-866-BALFOUR. Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm CST.
