Hi there, Carolina alumni!
My name is Alex Scovel, and I work for Carolina’s Admissions Office, coordinating the Gamecock Alumni Recruitment Network (GARNET). As a graduate of the University of South Carolina, you have first-hand knowledge of what it is like to be a Carolina Gamecock. Through the GARNET, we invite you to share your Carolina experience with prospective Carolina students as an alumni volunteer.
If you are interested in getting involved, the next step in our process is to complete an application form for the program. I have posted a link to the form here!
On the application, you will have the opportunity to select whether you are interested in assisting our office with Admissions events in your area, college fairs, or by being a personal point of contact (through e-mails, phone calls, and potentially in-person meetings) for prospective Carolina students.
We hope our volunteers are able to commit a minimum of five hours over the course of the next year.
