Investing in the promise of this great University and securing Carolina’s future success form the core goals of “Carolina’s Promise,” the University of South Carolina’s historic and ambitious Capital Campaign. Carolina’s Promise gives our diverse University family–spread throughout eight campuses and around the world–the opportunity to join together for something special and historic.

To celebrate the public launch of Carolina’s Promise, launch parties were hosted simultaneously in 27 cities nationwide on Thursday, May 10, from 6-8 p.m. EDT. Alumni and friends in each city were greeted by their local My Carolina Club leaders and a University dean or representative. All launch party sites were connected to Columbia through social media and watched President Pastides’ remarks and the campaign video. Cities and locations that participated are listed below.

Thank you to all who took part! Find out more about Carolina's Promise.
