Alumni Night at Park Lanes! More than 50 alumni gathered at George Pappas Park Lanes on April 25 for Gamecock bowling and socializing.

Spring Happy Hour at BlackFinn! With more than 60 alumni and supporters in attendance, $252 was raised.

Charlotte Freshmen Send-Off Party! The 2011 Charlotte Freshmen Send-Off Party was held on Sunday afternoon, July 24, at Bonefish Grill. The Carolina Alumni Club of Charlotte hosted 120 guests, including 46 students, at their annual event.
Our newest Gamecocks, parents, and alumni enjoyed the opportunity to meet current students, including the student body Vice President and Treasurer, and the University Staff, including Jerry Brewer, Associate Vice-President of Student Affairs, Tom Halz, Director of the USC Career Center, and Melissa Gentry, Director of Parents Programs. Move-In Day and Residence Hall questions were answered, door prizes were awarded, and each student received a goodie bag with a My Carolina Student Member Tshirt, Daily Gamecock Newspaper, Carolinian Magazine, and other garnet and black goodies/discounts.

Charlotte Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament! Gamecock alumni and supporters attended the second annual Charlotte Golf Tournament at the Golf Club at Ballantyne Resort on Friday, August 26th, co-hosted by the Carolina Alumni Club of Charlotte and the Charlotte Gamecock Club. Proceeds supported our local Charlotte Scholarship for an incoming USC student.

East Carolina Football Season Kick-Off Party in Charlotte! All My Carolina and Gamecock Club members were invited to be a part of the festive events happening in Charlotte the weekend of the opening football game against East Carolina. On Friday evening, the My Carolina Alumni Club of Charlotte hosted a pre-game party at Charlotte's most popular nightspot, EpiCentre Pavilion, an open-air, rooftop venue with breathtaking views of the Charlotte skyline. Free food from Moe's was provided, and bands included Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans as well as the Lovehandles. Cocky and the Cheerleaders stopped by for a pep rally too!

Game-viewing parties! The My Carolina Alumni Club of Charlotte hosted game-viewing parties for each football game this fall at their official viewing location, Wild Wing Cafe at the EpiCentre. Gamecock trivia, drink and appetizer specials added to the party!

Capital One Bowl Game Viewing Party! The My Carolina Alumni Club of Charlotte hosted a viewing party at their official viewing location to watch the Gamecocks defeat the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Capital One Bowl Game on January 2, 2012.
