The NEW My Carolina Alumni Club of Tampa hosted our club Kick-Off Party this spring with a Carolina Baseball theme and special guests!
Alumni and friends in Tampa gathered for a spring social and got to meet the co-authors of of the officially authorized, most comprehensive baseball book on the history of the University of South Carolina baseball program on Thursday, March 15.
Two players for the 2012 national championship team, Sam Dyson and Peter Mooney, and their families joined us for appetizers and book signing. The Club also participated in Gamecocks Giving Back, our newest alumni service program, as half of all proceeds from the book, Pressure Makes Diamonds, support the Ray Tanner Foundation's goal to build a Miracle League in Columbia.
