'Carolina's Promise' Kicks Off with National Events
Investing in the promise of this great University and securing Carolina’s future success form the core goals of “Carolina’s Promise,” the University of South Carolina’s historic and ambitious Capital Campaign. Carolina’s Promise gives our diverse University family–spread throughout eight campuses and around the world–the opportunity to join together for something special and historic.
To celebrate the public launch of Carolina’s Promise, launch parties will be hosted simultaneously in 27 cities nationwide on Thursday, May 10, from 6-8 p.m. EDT. Alumni and friends in each city will be greeted by their local My Carolina Alumni Club leaders and a University dean or representative. All launch party sites will be connected to Columbia through social media, and we will all watch President Pastides’ remarks and the campaign video. Cities and locations are listed below.
