Happy Homecoming! It’s always a great time to be a Gamecock. Isn’t it great to know that regardless of skin color, religious beliefs, nationality, politics or preferences, we as Carolina alumni are all part of Gamecock Nation? My Carolina Alumni Association’s mission is to keep all alumni engaged and informed about things happening with their alma mater, but we also love it when you reach out to us.
Alumni such as Ammie Horne Smith, ’02, and her husband, David Smith, ’95, ’98, brightened our day simply by sending this photo of their daughter Emily, who is well on her way to learning the joys of Carolina.
Ammie works for the South Carolina Education Lottery in the marketing department, while David is self-employed in the family printing business of Horne, Label and Printing. The couple has been married for five and half years and met while Ammie was a student at Carolina.

The Carolina Kids program is a complimentary My Carolina member benefit that connects your sons, daughters, and grandchildren to Carolina at an early age. When you enroll your children in the Carolina Kids program, you set the tone for their educational future. Collaborate with us to expose your children to the opportunities and significance of a Carolina education.
Once enrolled in the program, your Carolina Kid receives a birthday card from Cocky each year and gifts on select birthdays. All the great gifts are provided free with your paid membership to My Carolina.
