"My Carolina is Burney Hall Government, 'Cocky's 2001' and the Mighty Sound of the Southeast, living in Capstone when it was all upperclass women, squirrels on the Horseshoe, TIPS, parking in "the Pit", APO escort, the big corner booth at the Village Idiot, loudly and proudly singing the alma mater at Gamecock football games, and being in the first group of Visitor Center Ambassadors in garnet blazers at the Carolina Plaza. My Carolina was then, and is now, Summer Orientation and seeing all the excited new faces of freshmen, transfers, and parents. My Carolina is the best university and the best job in the world!"
