Two of the most common reasons that alumni utilize the University of South Carolina Career Center are to assist with their job search and to prepare for career changes.
Alumni use the online job search database, JobMate, to look for job opportunities and research the employers who typically recruit at the University of South Carolina. Alumni also utilize the Web Resources page that is available on the Career Center website. Some of the areas that are available for research on this page include:

The Alumni page provides information about job searching, what to do if you are laid off, and links to respected job search sites both locally and nationally. The Career Center website also includes interviewing and resume tip sheets, videos, and the virtual mock interview program, Perfect Interview. Alumni are also invited to participate in the job fairs that are held each fall and spring semester.
